Maremma Park

This is the Tuscany of the “butteri” or mounted cattle herders, and wild cattle, wild boars, foxes, porcupines and roe deer. It is a green oasis that extends for nine thousand hectares from Principina a Mare to Talamone: twenty-five kilometres of hills sloping towards sandy beaches and cliffs that plunge into clear waters, surrounded by marshes, pine forests and pastures. The preferred access point for many is via the road that leads from Rispescia to Marina di Alberese. Here too, as elsewhere in the area, the beauty of the area makes it very popular during the summer months.
